  OK. What you need to know about this cafe (including the original one in Oak Bay), is that they cater to parents with small children, and as such don't expect a quiet coffee experience -- that does not bother me, but what does is the fact that this satellite cafe almost always runs out of the food items on their menu, especially the muffins. Also, regardless of how busy they are, and how much you tip, the baristas will never bring you your drink.

  Awesome spot for a coffee with your kids. There is a Thomas the tank engine table and plenty of toys for the kids to play with.

  Awesome staff, great location and surroundings. The only thing missing is a dark, French roast coffee. Their roast is light, mild and slightly watery. Lab Roasters for whatever reason, don't make a good dark roast. For a dark espresso, the dark French is needed. I would go more if they offered a dark roast.
