  Delicious hot soup served quickly. Vegetarian menu. Place is full of people and has a cozy vibe. Loved it!

  Take out: The ginger beef was better than anywhere else in Victoria but still not as good as Vancouver. Tasted a bit like vinegar. But it was spicy and crispy and the meat was good.
  Eating in: wor won ton is yummy and full of veggies and meats. I've had it twice, both times shrimp. Very nice, broth is just a tiche too sweet...add chili oil :) spicy beef with black bean is also pretty good..very tender! Ginger tofu dish was disappointing. Have the garlic pork it's awesome.

  J & J's is one of the best Chinese restaurants in a town that boasts a plethora of Chinese food eateries -- most of which are deficient in quality. We in Victoria know we are not as blessed as Vancouver in amazing Chinese and other Asian food offerings. Even J & J's is rather simple and uninventive by the standards of truly high-end Asian restaurants in other cities. But for Victoria, this is a quality establishment that draws a big crowd -- rightfully. They have a good formula, and they stick to it well.
